There is no doubt that there will be a strange atmosphere at Old Trafford when Manchester United face Newcastle United today.

It could be José Mourinho's final match in charge of the Red Devils, following on from reports that suggest the 55-year-old Portuguese manager will be sacked this weekend.

United supporters already have to face uncertainty about what the future would hold in the post-Mourinho era, but there might be another area of concern for them.

Antonio Valencia has sparked the interest of fans after tweeting his best wishes to the team, meaning that he is not included in the match-day squad.

The 33-year-old club captain has been United's first-choice right-back, which could leave summer signing Diogo Dalot to make his Premier League debut against Newcastle.

Like Mourinho, Valencia has been hitting the headlines this week, with the United star coming out to apologise for liking an Instagram post that called for the former Chelsea boss to be sacked.

While there might be some people that would be happy to see the back of the Special One after his poor start to the season with United, Gary Neville recently expressed his dissatisfaction on how the club's board has handled the entire situation.

"I love that club to death, but something has to change and it is not the manager," Neville said on Sky Sports.

"José Mourinho will get the biggest support of his life in the ground and I will be there to give it to him.

"There is something rotten from the core with what has happened over the last three or four weeks and that is coming from the top.

"They are playing Football Manager with the biggest club in the world."
