A fan has ranked a number of the best football managers in history into a tiermaker - ranking them from 'GOAT' to 'Good'.

At the very top of the tree is two absolute legends in Sir Alex Ferguson and Rinus Michels, who completely changed the game with their management style and longevity.

Ferguson won a total of 38 trophies during his glittering 26-year period in charge of Manchester United and was master of rebuilding title-winning sides.

Michels, meanwhile, is deemed to be the father of "total football" and won the European Cup with Barcelona as well as the European Championship as Netherlands boss.

'God tier' features another highly influential Dutchman in Johan Cruyff and his prodigy Pep Guardiola, as well as the Catalan's rival Jose Mourinho - who has won league titles in four different countries and won the Champions League twice.

A place further down in 'Demi-God territory is the likes of Carlo Ancelotti, Brian Clough, Fabio Capello, Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Vicente Del Bosque and Jupp Heynckes.

'Great' sees Zinedine Zidane, Guus Hiddink and Sir Bobby Robson among others, while the final 'Good' tier is where the majority of the controversy lies.

The likes of Jurgen Klopp, Arsene Wenger, Diego Simeone, Sven Goran-Eriksson, Max Allegri, Frank Rijkaard, Rafa Benitez and Luiz Felipe Scolari are all deemed to be on the same level down at the bottom.
