Alexandre Lacazette's transfer from Lyon to Arsenal in 2017 had Gunners fans excited at the time.

After all, the 27-year-old Frenchman had made his name at the Ligue 1 club, made over 200 appearances and scored 100 times.

The former Lyon striker now finds himself working under the tutelage of Unai Emery and developing a formidable partnership alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Lacazette, however, has recently spoken about his time in France's top league and why he thinks it can be better than the Premier League in one area.

"I miss Ligue 1's atmosphere," he told Le Progrès. "In England, the fans are more spectators than supporters.

"There's a better atmosphere in French stadiums."

Just before the international break, Emery's in-form Arsenal side thrashed Fulham 5-1 and both Lacazette and Aubameyang scored a brace each.

"It is good, [Aubameyang] is like my brother," he said (via the Independent). "We talk every day and we love working together. Today in front of the goal we scored two goals each, which is good."

The Gunners are fourth in the Premier League after eight matches and face Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium on September 22nd.
