Philippe Coutinho Scores Hat-Trick In World Class Performance For Bayern Munich

Philippe Coutinho scored a hat-trick for Bayern Munich on Saturday afternoon to show he's still one of the world's best.

Bayern Munich romped to a 6-1 victory over Werder Bremen on Saturday afternoon and Coutinho was the star of the show.

As well as scoring three goals that just got better and better, he also provided two assists for Robert Lewandowski.

Bayern have had a poor season so far and came into the game in seventh place.

Bremen had taken the lead early on but Bayern levelled just before half-time after Coutinho finished a Serge Gnabry cross.

He then provided for Lewandowski to continue his fine goal scoring form and give Bayern the lead.

It was the second half when the 27-year-old took over and ran the show.

His second of the game was a delightful chip with his right foot.

The hang time of the ball is ridiculous as it drops straight into the Werder net.

His final goal was also breathtaking and it's classic Coutinho stuff.

Ivan Perisic lays the ball off to the Brazilian on the edge of the Werder box.

The former Liverpool man then shimmies the ball onto his right foot and he exquisitely bends the ball into the net via the post.

It was an electric performance for the midfielder who's endured a mix start to life in Germany.

Fans on Twitter were in awe of his performance and are hoping he can fire Bayern up the Bundesliga table.

Coutinho also scored in midweek against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League so it could be a sign he's getting back to top gear.

Hans-Dieter Flick's side will need him as they currently trail league leaders Red Bull Leipzig by six points.
