Cambodian Football Fan Spends Whole Game Cheering On His Team In 14-0 Defeat To Iran

A Cambodian football fan is on his way to becoming a viral sensation after being seen proudly supporting his side in a 14-0 thrashing at the hands of the Iran.

The supporter made the 6000km trip across Asia to be in attendance for the match but unfortunately witnessed his country suffer their most devastating defeat of all-time in the Qatar World Cup second round qualifier.

He was all alone in the away section yet this did not stop him from passionately getting behind his team - using three drums and megaphone to cheer on Cambodia from the first minute to the 90th.

He deserves enormous credit for the dedication he has displayed and we hope he gets the VIP treatment against Iraq at the Olympic Stadium on Tuesday.

The Iran-Cambodia fixture also made headlines as it was the first time in 40 years that female fans were allowed to enter the stadium. A truly historic moment.
