Erling Haaland Breaks The Sound Barrier With Ridiculous Volley And Laughs At It, He's A Monster

It whacked the crossbar and made such a satisfying noise.

Erling Haaland struck the sweetest volley you'll ever see during Norway training and immediately laughed it off - he's an absolute animal.

The 21-year-old is currently on international duty and scored against the Netherlands on Wednesday as well as Latvia on Saturday.

It continues his remarkable start to the season and in a clip posted to Twitter, he's shown exactly what he's capable of.

Haaland flicks the ball up to a coach who throws it up in the air. The Borussia Dortmund man then smashed it past the goalkeeper, who was helpless.

Nothing is more satisfying than a volley going in off the crossbar. Absolutely nothing.

Haaland flashes the camera a cheeky smile before sticking out his tongue and walking away.

Fans have reacted to the strike and they're convinced Haaland isn't actually human.

One commented: "I've never seen anyone hit a ball harder."

Another said: "That f*cking sound man... No keeper in the world stops that it just takes their hands clean off and into the goal."

A third put: "I feel terrible for every single goalkeeper that needs to attempt saving that s**t."

While someone else added: "99 shot power this lad is from a different planet."

During Norway's 1-1 draw with the Netherlands, Haaland had the challenge of getting past Virgil van Dijk.

It was always going to be a physical encounter given both men's frames, but Liverpool star van Dijk got more than he bargained for.

Van Dijk appeared to suffer a dislocated finger at the start of the second half.

The Dutch skipper's finger was popped back in by the medical staff and then taped up for the rest of the game.

Haaland confirmed he was the cause in a post-match chat with Norwegian station TV2.

"I actually snapped his finger on him," Haaland explained.

"I do not know how it happened. He just said 'f***ing hell, you broke my finger'.

"He's good, so to speak. I have no idea how I snapped his finger. That's just the way it is."
