Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has hit back at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp's criticism of his refusal to back five substitutions.
Wilder was one of the Premier League managers who spoke out against allowing five substitutions when it was up for debate earlier this season. Clubs voted to revert to a maximum of three substitutions after the rule had been changed for the postponed 2019/20 season matches this summer.
However, since then there has been a spate of injuries across the Premier League, with high-intensity defending champions Liverpool among the worst hit.

Klopp again attacked Wilder on Saturday, pointing out that the Blades have just one point and calling him selfish.
The German had just seen James Milner add to his injury list during a 1-1 draw with Brighton, coming off with a hamstring injury.
However, the Sheffield United coach hit back after his side lost 1-0 to West Brom, pointing out that he will always look out for his own club's interests.

"I'm not interested in that today. Maybe that's for another time. As Jurgen made a good observation, we are just on one point. It's not the time to talk about it," he told Sky Sports.
"Everybody has that
right and there's 20 votes in this league. Nobody is looking after
Sheffield United right the way through, so we have to look after
ourselves.
"I'm not really going into the nuts and bolts, I've got a huge amount of respect for Liverpool as a football club, and for Jurgen, whether it's looking after the club, whether it's 'selfish', or another word that anybody uses.
"By the way there's a few more managers in there who have looked after their own club... that's enough from me."
It is thought that allowing more substitutions would benefit the larger, richer clubs, who have bigger squads to choose from.
