Flamengo women dished out an utter humiliation of their opponents Greminho last week when they scored a staggering 56 goals without reply.

Playing in the Carioca Championship in Rio de Janeiro, the team were responsible for one of the most one-sided games in recent memory.

If it had been a boxing match, no doubt it would have been stopped early on as Flamengo were already 7-0 up inside eleven minutes.

Flamengo were 29-0 up at half-time and didn't go easy on Greminho in the second half, bagging a further 27 to record one of the biggest scorelines in football history.

Players Atacante Raiza and Flavia both helped themselves to eleven goals, while Samhia Simão notched nine in the damaging defeat.

Flamengo have now scored a ridiculous 79 goals in their last three games and will no doubt be looking to add to their tally when they take on Seleçao da Cufa on 6 October.

The women's team of Portuguese outfit Benfica went viral earlier this year when they scored an insane 293 goals in 16 games, winning all 16 and not conceding once.
