Five Million Real Madrid Fans Voted On Which Players Should Stay And Leave

Almost five million fans have had their say on which Real Madrid players should stay and which should leave the club this summer.

Keylor Navas, Jesus Vallejo, Theo Hernandez, Sergio Reguilon, Dani Ceballos, Marcos Llorente, Mateo Kovacic, James Rodriguez, Martin Odegaard, Oscar Rodriguez, Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez, Brahim Diaz and Mariano Diaz are the names of those who could soon be on the move.

Spanish outlet AS decided to carry out a poll where Real fans accumulated an approval rating for each player and out-of-favour Gareth Bale is right at the bottom of the queue on 9%.

Bale was denied a potential farewell appearance at the Santiago Bernabeu, where Real lost 2-0 to Real Betis this afternoon.

The Welshman remained on the bench throughout and after being overlooked by Zinedine Zidane, headed straight down to the tunnel at the end of the game.

After the game, 'Radioestadio, via SPORT, quoted him as saying the following to his teammates after the game:

"I've got three years left on my contract. If they want me to go, they'll need to pay me €17m per season. If not, I'll stay here. And if I have to play golf, I will."

Mariano Diaz, Zidane's son Luca, Dani Ceballos and Isco complete the bottom five of players not fancied by Madridistas, while Dani Carvajal, Vinicius Jr, Sergio Ramos and Brahim Diaz are the five most-wanted players by the Los Blancos faithful.
