Fernando Varela enjoyed a touching moment with his son on Monday night during PAOK's 3-0 victory over Larissa.
The defender scored in the 40th minute after heading home Dimitros Pelkas' corner and then celebrated with his son, who had recently been bullied at school.
The bullying had stemmed from Varela scoring an own goal during a game against Olympiacos, last season, despite the fact the 30-year-old had actually given PAOK the lead in the same match.

The scene is as heart warming a moment as you are likely to see all season, with Varela and his son looking delighted to celebrate the goal together.

The above tweet reads, "PAOK defender Fernando Varela, forgave himself by celebrating his goal with his son.
"Varela's son was ill-treated by his father because his father scored his own goal in the Olympiacos match at the beginning of the season."
Here's hoping Varela's goal against Larissa will put an end to the aggressive treatment his son has received.
