Chelsea may have extended their winning streak to seven consecutive Premier league games while also putting an end to Spurs' undefeated start to the season, yesterday, but Rio Ferdinand was left unimpressed with a couple of members of Antonio Conte's first team.

The Blues were not at their best during the 2-1 victory over their London rivals, and were indebted to goals from Pedro and Victor Moses after a Christian Eriksen screamer had handed Tottenham the lead.

During his post match analysis for BT Sport, Ferdinand identified the two players he felt were the weak links in Antonio Conte's 3-4-3 system and, surprisingly for a team managed by the Italian tactician, both players were in his defence.

"I think this showed today that if you put pressure on this back three when they're trying to play out - they can't do it. They're not good enough. Cahill and Azpilicueta were playing out from the back in deep areas [but] when you put them under pressure they can't find people.

"Their best attributes are not passing out from the back. You saw it in the first half when Spurs applied pressure from the front they haven't got enough to get out. Every time they tried to in the first half they lost the ball."

Will the former Juventus manager agree with the former Manchester United captain's analysis of Cahill and Azpilicueta? It's hard to believe that out of all of Conte's defenders, it's David Luiz who is receiving the least criticism from pundits.
