Rio Ferdinand and Marcus Rashford revealed England's World Cup ratings ahead of EA Sports' free extension to FIFA 18 and Jesse Lingard was the butt of the jokes.

Rashford himself was not best pleased with his card and made several adjustments. For starters, he says he's been doing all sorts of leg to work improve his speed, which stands at 92.

The Manchester United forward reckons it should have been bumped up two ratings to 94, while he upgraded his defending to 39 from 60, shooting from 78 to 83, passing from 73 to 79 and dribbling from 83 to 85.

The 20-year old was modest about his physicality and kept it 74 because although he's improved big time, he knows he's still that there.

But when it came to his best mate Lingard and his physicality, Rashford couldn't resist a few digs. Lingard's 80-rated card has 67 physicality and Rashford so unimpressed that he said it should have been a zero.

After informing United legend Ferdinand that Lingard has been working with him in the gym, which led to Rio suggesting a 10-rating for physicality, he eventually bumped it up to 70 and rated his pal's stats pretty fairly.

In terms of the other ratings, Harry Kane is predictably the highest-rated England player following his 30-goal season and gets an 87, while Raheem Sterling is deservedly given an 84 mark for his best ever individual campaign - scoring 23 goals and recording 12 assists in all competitions for Manchester City record-breakers.

The ratings reveal also includes several players who have not made Gareth Southgate's 23-man squad, such as Ryan Bertrand, Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana, Jermain Defoe, Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka.

The EA SPORTS FIFA 18 World Cup Russia update is coming on May 29th.
