There were incredibly scary scenes just before the Euro 2020 fixture between France and Germany this evening as a fan parachuted into the Allianz Arena and got caught in the spider cam.

In footage doing the rounds on social media, the supporter was seen flying in the air before dropping at a frightening and dangerous speed and coming incredibly close to crashing into fans in the stands after getting caught up in cables.

With both sets of teams getting ready for kick-off, he eventually ended up on the pitch and was checked on by Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

The fan, who appeared to be protesting and had the words "Kick out oil Greenpeace" on the yellow parachute, was then taken away by security after receiving medical attention.

France vs Germany in Group F is one of the biggest games at this summer's European Championship.

The 2018 World Cup winners went 1-0 up in Munich after Mats Hummels put through his own net when he stuck his leg out to block a Lucas Hernandez cross.
