A football fan might just have cracked the code of how to rearranging the footballing calendar in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak.

The Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue One have all announced the suspension of football until at lest April.

Fans have been wondering how the season could possibly be completed with Euro 2020 around the corner and one fan might just have the solution.

Steve Price's suggestion made on Twitter has garnered a hugely positive reaction.

His idea is to allowing until November for the domestic seasons to be wrapped up around Europe and then as a follow-on, reschedule the Euros so the tournament happens alongside the Africa Cup of Nations in January to February.

The following season would start in March through to November 2021 before a winter break ensues. The action would then resume in January 2022 until October 2022, a month prior to the 2022 World Cup, which, for the first time ever, is taking place in the winter in Qatar.

It's unclear, at this point, what exactly the plan is for the football governing bodies but lot of people are seriously buying into Steve's proposal.

Steve was also more than happy to answer any questions from other fans on how he'd combat other problems such as the transfer window.

Well played Steve!
