One fan believes Zlatan Ibrahimovic hasn't produced a world class performance on the biggest stage.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's career has been branded "laughable" in a viral thread diminishing the Swede's achievements in the game.

Ibrahimovic has over 500 goals for club and country and despite a devastating ACL injury a few years back, he is still performing at an exceptionally high level for AC Milan at the ripe old age of 39 - 22 years after he made his professional debut for Malmo many moons ago.

Turning out for the likes of Ajax, Inter, Barcelona, PSG and Manchester United, he's won league titles in four different countries and is widely viewed as one of the best strikers of his generation.

Yet @FussballHussain reckons Ibrahimovic's stint in the game is a bit of a myth and he put together a thread to explain his reasons.

He points out that while Ibrahimovic has lifted his fair share of trophies, the Champions League has evaded him.

This is despite Ibrahimovic playing for seven European giants, who have lifted the richest prize in club football 24 times between them.

Hussain says the well-travelled forward "achieved nothing of note" in his career - highlighting his solitary Team of the Year appearance and lack of Ballon d'Or top three finishes.

He goes on to claim that even with his longevity, Ibrahimovic hasn't produced a world-class performance on the biggest stage and reckons he will only be remembered for his "loud antics" and not what he did on the pitch.

As seen in the replies, plenty of people think Hussain has seriously slandered Ibrahimovic - not the man himself will be bothered in the slightest.
