A fan has created a brilliant concept for a new set of card types on FIFA Ultimate Team.

EA Sports have a whole host of different special cards in their most popular game mode, including in-forms, icons, future stars, FutMas, Man of the Match, Team of the Season ones to watch and many more.

The closest thing to the brand new idea from Reddit user @RottenBlack134 would be the Flashback cards, which focused on a memorable season or achievement of active players.

However, it's not got a patch on 'the streets will never forget' cards. The gamer has even designed cards complete with statistics for three of the stars who fit the mould perfect - former Swansea City one-season wonder and Erling Haaland's favourite player Michu, Hatem Ben Arfa and Fabio Coentrao.

In a nutshell, the idea would be for cult hero players who weren't quite good enough to be Icons to get some recognition on FIFA.

"My idea is to celebrate those fan favourites who didn't shine bright their entire career like Icons," he told SPORTbible.

"Mostly for the cult heroes that the "streets won't forget" because realistically what's more fun than using that player everyone loves? Instead of some of the weaker icons like Nakata or Inzaghi I think people would probably prefer a Hatem Ben Arfa or Adel Taarabt.

"Ideally, my 'Star' card concept would exists parallel with Icons in FIFA. Where Icons still have their Base-Mid-Prime-Icon Moments cards, but also have SBCs for the Star cards or be available in packs."

Already, the reddit thread has thrown up some very good suggestions from fans who love a bit of nostalgia.

Adriano, Adel Taarabt, Papiss Cisse, Andrey Arshavin, Daniel Sturridge, Roque Santa Cruz, Morten Gamst Pedersen, Chris Samba, Amr Zaki, Asamoah Gyan, Niko Kranjcar and Jackson Martinez to name just a few of the household names mentioned that would work perfectly in this concept.

However, there are three notable omissions that need some props. We're talking about the sweatiest trio in FIFA history - Gervinho, Victor Ibarbo and Seydou Doumbia when they were at AS Roma.

Gervinho had 93 pace and 83 dribbling, Doumbia had 93 pace and 82 dribbling, while Ibarbo, playing on the right flank, completed the utter with 91 pace and 82 dribbling.

The trio were so good that literally your whole game plan would be to play a through ball in behind and wait for your attackers to explode off the blocks.

Many controllers have been destroyed on Xbox and PlayStation thanks to these three players doing absolute bits on FIFA 15.
