OUCH.

Russian diver and reigning Olympic champion Ilia Zakharov is out of the 3m springboard after his knee's buckled during a dive.

It hasn't been the greatest week for Zakharov, who clipped the board in his preliminary dive on Monday, but this unfortunate effort summed up his time in Rio.

Despite two strong dives to open the semifinal, the reigning Olympic champion's buckled on a forward 2.5 pike with 2 twists. The belly flop served him a "no dive," zero points, and an early elimination.

This must of hurt!

Zakharov totaled a huge 555.90 points in his gold-medal program in London.

What happened?!
