Back in 1999, Manchester United completed a famous treble winning season after two late goals from Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sealed one of the greatest comebacks in European history.

Sir Alex Ferguson described that night as the best of his life, as the great Peter Schmeichel lifted the trophy on his final appearance for Manchester United.

It was a moment this will live long in the memory of every United supporter.

Wednesday night's Europa League victory will also be remembered as a historic day in the club's long and successful history, but was it a TREBLE winning season?

During the post-match celebrations, Mourinho was spotted ordering his Manchester United side to hold up three fingers while celebrating.

Why? To represent the trophies the club have won since he joined as manager.

As you can imagine, this caused plenty of debate on social media.

Did they or did they not win a treble?

Another controversial moment after the game involved Mourinho and Ajax youngster Justin Kluivert.

It seems the Manchester United manager looks to have told the youngster "I want you" and "one more season and you come to Manchester."
