Punter Just Lost £1,000,000 From A Rebound Penalty In The 91st Minute

Never have I felt so sorry for someone in my life.

On a gloomy Saturday in August, the unluckiest punter in the history of betting has managed to lose £1 million in the most dramatic of circumstances.

At 2:59pm this afternoon, hundreds of thousands could only dream of winning £1,000,000 on the Sky Super 6, but 90 minutes later, nobody managed to become a millionaire in the popular game.

That being said, after presumably sweating two litres of fluid after jumping all over the living room in a state of panic and excitement, one person was seconds away from the grand prize.

So here's this unfortunate series of events went down.

In the 91st minute, this punter had predicted six results and was on the verge of winning the million, but seconds later, Nottingham Forest were given a last minute penalty.

This person was hoping and praying that Forest would miss the spot kick and remarkably, goalkeeper Christian Walton saved the penalty to win him the million.

Fast forward another few seconds and Algerian forward Hillal Soudani pounced on the rebound and knocked it it to equalise.

Absolute nightmare.

Nottingham Forest managed to pick up a single point in their second game of the season, and although this fixture may seem irrelevant at the end of the season, one punter will be still ruing his luck on that awful day in August.

You've got to feel for this person, here, how very unlucky.
