Wayne Shaw may have lost his job as Sutton's reserve goalkeeper/dugout cleaner/cult hero following 'Piegate', but now the 46-year-old goalie has found the role he was seemingly born for.
He is now a pie salesman.
Or at least he is making a guest appearance as one.

In a fitting turn of events, Shaw, who was infamously filmed chomping on a pie/pasty on the sidelines during Sutton's 2-0 FA Cup fifth round defeat to Arsenal, last month, has helped out a local business by selling their pies for them.

Shaw was pictured in his new job by Pieter Hak, who proudly shared the photos of the former Sutton United goalkeeper selling his pies, on Twitter.

Shaw replied by thanking Hak in a message that makes it sound as though the deal may have been a one off rather than a regular role for the 46-year-old.

Shaw was fired by Sutton after it was revealed he had eaten a pie in view of the BBC cameras in a stunt that was backed by Sun Bets, who were offering odds of 8/1 against him eating a pie and a subsequent investigation was launched.
