He's one of the most exciting young talents in European football at the moment, but Serge Gnabry insists he's learning all of his tricks from one of the game's established talents - Eden Hazard.

Gnabry has enjoyed a fruitful 2016 after finishing top scorer for Germany at the summer Olympics in Rio and successfully leaving Arsenal for Werder Bremen in search of first-team football.

The 21-year-old capped off his brilliant year by scoring a hat-trick on his debut for the German senior side in the 8-0 drubbing of San Marino last week.

But Gnabry is honest enough to acknowledge the part some of his idols have played in recent success, most notably Chelsea forward Hazard.

Speaking to German newspaper Bild, via the Evening Standard, Gnabry said: "Hazard is world class, he is amazing.

"The way he protects the ball and his fist touch is incredible. I am really impressed with the way he plays. I regularly watch Hazard videos on YouTube."

Judging by the way the season is going for Gnabry so far, he could soon be talked about in the same breath as Hazard, and it really makes you wonder whether or not Arsenal let him go too soon.
