Fantasy Football Fans Sent Into Panic After Mohamed Salah Goes Off Injured

Fantasy football enthusiasts everywhere are panicking after Mohamed Salah was forced off injured against Manchester City.

The Egyptian king opened the scoring against Pep Guardiola's runaway leaders in the Champions League quarter final first leg, smashing home his 38th goal of the campaign 12 minutes in.

But then not long after half-time, the Liverpool No.11 suffered what appeared to be a groin injury and had to replaced by Gini Wijnaldum.

He was able to walk off down the tunnel but to the dismay of all the Fantasy football players who have him in their team, he looks doubtful to make the Merseyside derby away at Everton.

Needless to say, there was a whole lot of reaction on social media:

The former Roma man has been irresistible in his second spell in English football and has accrued an insane total of 273 points this term.
