Seriously, who doesn't love Mohamed Salah?!

He's getting personal escorts into airports. Police officers are taking cheeky selfies. And now a former teammate in Antonio Rudiger has glowingly spoke about 'The Egyptian King'.

Both Salah and Rudiger completed transfers away from AS Roma in the summer. Both leaving the Stadio Olimpico for the Premier League. But to separate clubs.

The German defender sealed a switch to Chelsea, while Salah left for Anfield.

Next up for the Champions League finalists; Chelsea. And Rudiger is looking forward to a potential reunion on the pitch.

While talking up a duel between the two speedsters.

"If I play, it will be a direct duel against Salah. The good thing is, I'm not slow!" He said.

What's Salah like as a person?

Per Rudiger, a 'fantastic' person and the most polite guy he's ever met in football.

"To be very honest, he is the most polite guy I have ever met in football. He is a fantastic person."

No one could have expected the season Salah has enjoyed. 43 goals, and counting, in all competitions is absurd. Though, Rudiger knows his ability and potential.

"Of course, you are always a bit surprised but I know his abilities and his potential and I knew he would be good for Liverpool," he added.

With two league games left, Salah has an impressive 31 goals to his name, four ahead of nearest rival, Harry Kane.

Kane (27 league goals) has three games to pip Salah to the Premier League Golden Boot.
