Erling Haaland's cousin is also an absolute goal machine, suggesting that there's something special in the family genes.

The 20-year-old Borussia Dortmund hot-shot has developed into one of the deadliest strikers in world football and could well be a man in demand in the summer.

But don't be surprised to see his relative follows in his footsteps in the coming years. Albert Braut Tjaaland is basically Haaland 2.0.

Fellow striker Tjaaland, with the same slicked-back blonde hair, towering frame and death stare, has scored an astonishing 64 goals in 37 games for Molde's youth team.

He's only just turned 17 and yet he's making some serious waves. Like his older cousin, Tjaaland started out at Byrne FK - notching a ridiculous 40 goals in 31 games last term.

He then made the same move as a 16-year-old Haaland did in 2017 when he joined Norwegian champions Molde in the summer.

Upon signing for the club, Tjaaland told VG: "I chose Molde because they have very good facilities.

"They received me very well, were interested in me and had good plans for me.

"I look forward to my time in Molde. It is a very nice place where I can develop. I talked to him [Haaland]. He said it was a good place to develop but I made the choice myself."

The thought of the two goal machines lining up alongside one another for Norway in the future is quite the mouthwatering prospect.

The pair have another cousin, Jonatan Braut Brunes, a 20-year-old central midfielder who plays for Lillestrom.
