The 21-year-old came off the bench for his first game in six weeks after recovering from a hip injury on Saturday afternoon.

He marked his return to action with a goal and immediately took off to celebrate, with one Wolfsburg fan in his sights.

Haaland went down on one knee to point towards the home fans and cameras immediately captured one woman's angry response.

You can imagine what gesture beneath that glove. Incredible scenes.

Fans on social media have reacted to it and they think it's one of the best moments of the entire season.

Haaland himself quote-tweeted a video of his exchange, with the caption: "This is why we love football".

Wout Weghorst gave Wolfsburg the lead inside two minutes but Emre Can equalised from the penalty spot just past the half hour mark.

Donyell Malen gave Dortmund a second half lead before Haaland sealed victory late on.

It caps off a week which has seen Dortmund fail to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.

Defeat to Sporting CP means Dortmund will be playing Europa League football from February.
