Erling Haaland has sent Leeds United fans into overdrive after being spotted wearing the club's shorts.

The Borussia Dortmund star was born in the city when his father Alf-Inge was playing for the club and still holds great admiration for the Yorkshire club.

And in a video which is doing the rounds on social media, Haaland showed just how much he loves Leeds while signing autographs for Dortmund fans.

The Norwegian was sat in his car, wearing Leeds shorts as he wound his window. At this point it's pretty well known that Haaland loves Leeds but fans of the Elland Road outfit are still loving his fandom:

Back in September, Haaland asked to swap shirts with Leeds utility man Stuart Dallas after he scored two against Northern Ireland for Norway.

Not only that, he also whispered, 'Marching on together' in Dallas' ear.

Speaking on the Super 6 podcast, Dallas recalled: "And then after the game, I went to shake hands with him and he just said to me, 'Can I swap shirts?'. And I sort, I think if you watch the clip, I sort of like smile and carry on.

"And then he's like shouted at me and I've come back. And he was like, 'Yeah we'll do it'. And he's just swapped shirts and then like just whispered into my ear, like just come close to me and was just like, 'Marching on together!'

"And he's like, 'I follow Leeds' and that was it really. Looking back now I've been smiling and laughing on camera when we've been hammered 5-1 - probably wasn't the smartest of things!"

Although he's been heavily linked with the best teams in the world, including Chelsea and Manchester City, his dream is to play for Leeds.

"I want to be the best possible," he said as an 16-year-old in 2017.

"The dream is to win the Premier League with Leeds."
