He struck a stinging side-foot volley into the back of the net, leaving goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell with no chance in goal.
He then scored his second goal of the night with a stunning curling effort in the 58th minute.
Needless to say, Haaland's heroics sent social media into overdrive.
One Twitter user wrote: "The way this man treats a football is ridiculous - good for him he's only going to get better but bad news for the oppos who've got to play against him."

A second tweeted: "He's got great off the ball movement and insane finishing with both feet. Consistency AND turns up in big games. Gonna be special."
A third added: "Haaland is a cheat code man. What a goal. What a player. Robot. So happy he plays for us."
Haaland enjoyed an ultra-prolific campaign last season as he bagged 44 goals in all competitions for both Red Bull Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund.
