Phil Neville issued an extremely strong worded post-match interview following England's controversial Women's World Cup match against Cameroon.

The England coach didn't hold back as he condemned Cameroon's behaviour and antics during the fiery quarter-final fixture.

"The behaviour was wrong and that's the image of women's football that has gone out worldwide," he said.

"It wasn't football for me, in terms of their behavior. Those images are going out worldwide and for me it's not right. There's a certain standard of behavior you have to adhere to. We know the rules... deal with it," he added.

England fans applauded his passionate interview. Here's some reaction from social media:

England resume their campaign against Norway on June 27 for a spot in the semi-finals.
