Ederson Makes Huge Mistake To Allow Anthony Martial To Score For Manchester United
Manchester City's Ederson committed a huge howler for the crucial opening goal against Manchester United.
Anthony Martial scored the first goal of the game thanks to a massive blunder from Ederson, who failed to stop the ball from going in his near post.
Bruno Fernandes took a quick free-kick as he chipped a brilliant ball to Martial who struck a first-time volley, which found the back of the net following the Brazilian keeper's mistake.
What a howler from Ederson! :see_no_evil:
Martial gives #MUFC the lead after volleying home Fernandes' clever free-kick, but Ederson should have saved it!

Needless to say, Ederson's error sent social media into overdrive.
Ederson with an absolute howler.
He can kick a ball really far so he must be world class.

If that was Bravo, City twitter would be in fucking flames. Ederson has not been good all season.

That Ederson blunder. No wonder Alisson is Brazils number one!

Genuinely sickens me that Ederson > Alisson was ever an actual opinion that I had to argue against. Never have I seen a more overrated goalkeeper. His shot stopping ability is average at best, he's only rated because he plays for City and has great distribution

"Don't wanna hear anyone say he's better than Allison," one social media user wrote.
A second tweeted: "Why do goalkeepers not save with their feet anymore, if he goes for it with his foot that's an easy save?"
A third added: "Kepa > Ederson."
United head into the break one-up thanks to the Frenchman's goal in the 30th minute.
