Eden Hazard Is The Poster Boy For McDonald's In Belgium

Eden Hazard is the face of McDonald's new advertising campaign in his native Belgium.

A new poster promoting 'Red Devils burgers' from the fast-food chain has been doing the rounds on social media and sees Hazard star front and centre.

He can be seen with his hands on his face, doing his best impression of Kevin McCallister in Home Alone, as he looks at two beef patties in buns.

Youri Tielemans and Kevin De Bruyne are also said to feature in the adverts but it's skipper Hazard who has gone viral on social media.

The image of his caused a stir due to the many 'fat' and 'overweight' jibes the former Chelsea man has been subjected to in recent times.

In February, Hazard was trolled in brutal fashion by Burger King after it emerged he was absent from training.

Spanish outlet El Chiringuito tweeted, "Hazard didn't train with the team today. Why?".

"That led to whoever was manning the Burger King Twitter page quote tweeting with the caption, "2x1 at Burger King" - clearly indicating as though the Belgian was taking advantage of their latest offer.

In 2011, a 20-year-old Hazard received a two-game ban after he was pictured eating a burger during a game which he had been substituted in.

McDonald's have been partners with the Belgium national team for a number of years now.

In 2017, Hazard, along with his brother Thorgan and teammates Romelu Lukaku and Jan Vertonghen, were McDonald's employees for a day as part of a promotional stunt.
