Donny van de Beek continues to struggle for game-time at Manchester United, having failed to make the starting XI for the Europa League quarter final second leg against Granada this evening.

The Red Devils are 2-0 up from the first leg in Spain and one might have expected Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to rest a few players at Old Trafford.

However, he's picked both Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes from the off in the fixture and left Van de Beek, a £40 million summer signing from Ajax, on the bench.

The Netherlands international just cannot get himself a start in the United midfield and unfortunately for him it doesn't look like it will change anytime soon.

United fans reacted strongly to news of their No.34 being on the bench yet again:

The 23-year-old has made 29 appearances in all competitions for United but just 12 have been starts, including a mere two in the Premier League.
