In your favourite story of the day, a dog was sent off for invading the pitch during a game in Serbia.
Kolubara and Radnički Kragujevac were playing out a friendly on Wednesday when the over-excited canine decided to get involved.
The dog invaded the field of play on four different occasions and halted proceedings in the fixture. The referee comically brandished a red card to the pooch after the fourth and final interruption but the animal was not having it.
Refusing to exit the pitch for an early bath, the game was eventually abandoned and Kolubara were given a 3-0 victory as a result.

The picture of the official dismissing the dog might just go down as one of the greatest in the history of football.
In another recent dog pitch invasion, a hound caused absolute chaos in the Bolivian top flight.
The superbly named The Strongest beat Nacional Potosi 3-0 on Christmas Eve but all the headlines went to the dog, who came onto the pitch and stole a boot in a memorable cameo.

On this occasion, however, the playful pup was given a tickle and gently removed from the turf by one of the players so that play could continue.
