Dimitri Payet's rapport with West Ham supporters was severely damaged when he went on strike and left the club to return to Marseille just over a year ago, but it seems not every supporter is bitter about it.
Young Hammers fan Lucas Campbell remained a big fan of Payet, and Marseille and the player himself gave him the experience of a lifetime as a token of their appreciation.

After the little LAD's father posted a Tweet on social media, Marseille got in touch via Twitter DM's and then Payet got word.
The former Lille man sent a video message wishing his fan a happy 10th birthday and invited him to be in attendance for the game between Marseille and Metz at the Stade Velodrome.
Not only did he witness a nine-goal thriller that finished 6-3 in Marseille's favour, with former Newcastle flop Florian Thauvin bagging a hat-trick, he was allowed into the dressing room to sit in his hero's seat.
But the trip wasn't complete without a meeting from the man himself and Lucas was over the moon when Payet greeted him, signing his scarf and Marseille home shirt.
He now has that signed shirt on his wall, to go with the rest of his Payet-themed bedroom.
It was a beautiful moment, and one that Lucas will never, ever forget.
Kudos to all those who made his dream come true.
