Tottenham Hotspur youngster Harry Winks made headlines this week when he scored on his first Premier League start against West Ham, with Spurs eventually picking up a massive three points when Harry Kane bagged a late penalty.

If we're being totally honest, this was the probably the first time most football fans got to see Winks in action and he was thoroughly impressive in his first start in one of the biggest leagues in the world.

However, it seems like his Spurs colleague Dele Alli has been well aware of Winks' talents for a long time. A tweet that Alli sent out in 2012 when he was at MK Dons has resurfaced.

Sadly it isn't a mirror selfie of Alli in his Topman T-shirt with some snazzy shades on, but he does give a shout-out to Winks, who he refers to as a "future baller".

He called it! Dele knows...

After his impressive debut, we're all expecting big things from Harry Winks and with the likes of Marcus Edwards and Cameron Carter-Vickers also coming through the ranks at Spurs, the future looks bright for the club.
