Dejan Lovren Names Liverpool Teammate As Premier League's Best Player

Dejan Lovren has named Liverpool teammate Philippe Coutinho as the Premier League's best player, heralding the Brazilian playmaker as a 'pleasure' to play with.

Coutinho has started the current season on fire and was once again instrumental for Jurgen Klopp's team, starring in their 4-2 victory over Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Speaking to The Mirror, the Croatian centre half said, "In my opinion, yes (Coutinho is the best player in the league), of course. I have the pleasure to play with this guy. He is playing for Brazil as well. He is a main part of the team, but like I said, it's not an individual thing, it's the teamwork today. It is the team that won, not just one player.
