Daniele De Rossi Stayed With Roma Teammate Until 4am To Find Injury Prognosis

It's hard to not like Daniele De Rossi. He's got a cracking beard, he's an excellent footballer and he's got a 'beware of being slide-tackled' tattoo and he's a pretty cool bloke.

We've also now learnt that he's the greatest teammate ever.

Roma player Alessandro Florenzi tore his cruciate ligaments in the 3-1 win over Sassuolo and was forced off on a stretcher late in the game.

The Italian had to have a scan on his left knee after the game and his family were waiting for the prognosis. However they were joined by vice captain De Rossi, who stayed with them until 4am to find out the results of the scan.

The 25-year old is sadly set for a lengthy period on the touchlines but as a Roma fan through and through, he would have been over the moon by the Giallorossi legend De Rossi going well out of his way to find out the verdict.

Class act.
