David Beckham has made a proposal for Luis Suarez to join his MLS franchise Inter Miami as a marquee signing.

Having announced in 2014 that he intended to buy an MLS franchise, Beckham's club will compete in the league for the first time in 2020.

And the England legend wants Barcelona star Suarez to lead the line, with a four-year offer and a sizeable salary on the table for the Uruguayan according to Catalunya Radio.

However, it is said that the former Liverpool striker has rejected the offer as he's not keen on making the move just yet.

Beckham's club are yet to do any business in the transfer market as things are still progressing but he's got plenty of ambition in regards to possible incomings and refused to rule out going after five-time Ballon d'Or winners Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

"Everyone has their wish list - everyone does!" Beckham told a group of reporters in March, via GOAL.

"But if you look at the way Leo and Cristiano are still playing, even at what you might think is the later stage of their careers, I don't see it ending for them.

"They're playing at such a high level that it's hard to see them leaving the clubs they are at. But we will see. You never know what can happen in football."

Much more realistically, however, TNT Sports, via AS, say Beckham wants Daniele De Rossi to sign for Inter Miami.

The 35-year old has just finished playing for his beloved AS Roma after 18 seasons and has already expressed an interest in moving to the States, saying, "I've always said that getting to MLS is something I would like,".
