It has been sensationally claimed that Kylian Mbappe is 'jealous' of Antoine Griezmann's dominance in the France team.

It has since been claimed that Adrien Rabiot's mother clashed with the family of Mbappe in the stands.

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar, who missed the all-important spot-kick, is now involved in a fresh scandal, according to L'Equipe.

The report says there is conflict between Mbappe and Griezmann - and states that the 22-year-old is 'jealous' of his international teammate's role in the national team.

Mbappe reportedly demanded the return of Karim Benzema, which affected Griezmann's position.

He also behaves selfishly, per the report - unlike the Barcelona forward who seeks more collectivity within the team.

Mbappe failed to impress at Euro 2020 as he went goalless in the tournament.

But Les Bleus boss Didier Deschamps refused to blame his star man for their exit.

Speaking after his side's defeat to Switzerland, he said: "The whole group is united in the dressing room.

"No-one talks about 'you made this mistake' or 'you made that mistake.' Kylian knows his responsibility.

"Of course, Kylian, even if he didn't score a goal, he was decisive in many actions that we had, then he took the responsibility to take this penalty and no-one is really angry with him.

"I talked to the players, we know the strength of this squad, of this team, we had many magnificent moments together today.

"It really hurts, there's a lot of sadness and, well, there were many things that we did really well in this match, but not everything and if we think too much about this match it won't help too much.

"This Euro was really difficult, it's not an excuse, and now there's the last European champion and the last world champion who have to go home, it hurts but we have to accept it."
