Gonzalo Higuain has gone viral after a clip showed him displaying absolutely no effort whatsoever in the 35th minute of an MLS game.
During the first half of Inter Miami's 1-1 draw with Philadelphia Union, Higuain was sitting very deep on the right as his team built an attack down the left flank.
They managed to transition fairly quickly and get in behind but when the forward tried to cut the ball back into the box, there was no attacker there and it was easily cut out.
That's because former Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus and Chelsea striker Higuain was just strolling around and showed no desire to bust a gut.
The 33-year-old is Inter Miami's talisman and captain as well as reportedly the highest-paid player in the league, but he was doing the opposite of leading by example in this instance.
It has been noted that before this clip Higuain had got back in to cover his teammate, hence why he found himself in that position.
But as a goalscorer, it's remarkable that he had no interest in advancing up the pitch and it isn't exactly a great look - especially with David Beckham's franchise struggling at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
The Argentine did show his quality in the second half, however, laying on a lovely assist for Robbie Robinson to the open scoring in the 71st minute.
Higuain may have actually used up more energy in the celebrations as he looked ecstatic over his side taking the lead.
Polish striker Kacper Przybyłko levelled five minutes from time to claim a point for Union, with Inter still winless since May and taking 9 points from a possible 39.
