Daley Blind Scores A 25 Minute Hat-Trick From Centre-Back As Ajax Win 8-0

Just your normal game...

Nothing to see here. Just Daley Blind scoring a hat-trick for Ajax from centre-back in an 8-0 win this afternoon.

The Netherlands international returned to Amsterdam for a second spell at his beloved Ajax in the summer, ending his four-year spell with Manchester United.

He's slotted back in seamlessly and today he re-opened his account for the club in quite stunning fashion, joining his teammate Hakim Ziyech in notching three times as his side pumped De Graafschap at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

The 28-year old struck a sensational strike in the 65th minute, grabbed a second nine minutes later and completed a quite remarkable three-goal haul in stoppage time.

The most incredible thing about Blind going goal-crazy is the fact that in just 25 minutes of football, he's scored more league goals than Romelu Lukaku has managed in the opening three months of the season.

Given he's a pretty solid and tidy player who can play in multiple positions, it does seem strange that United got rid of Blind in the summer but clearly he's loving life back home.
