While former teammate Wayne Rooney has his son, Kai, beginning his footballing career as well as Zlatan Ibrahimovic's two kids starting out at Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo's son is also set to enter the world of football just not with Real Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. will start his journey as a footballer with little-known Pozuelo CF, and the six-year-old has already had a run out for his side in a 4-3 win over El Carrascal.
Despite not playing for Real, he did though grace the Number 7 shirt while his father was in attendance watching on. And he would of been impressed with what he saw as the budding star bagged a goal.
Spanish outlet El Mundo claim; "The truth is that the decision not to enroll your child in the Real Madrid has caused a stir and surprise." As the decision also didn't go down well with some Real faithfuls.
Giving the example of boss Zinedine Zidane who has his four sons at the club. His two eldest sons, Enzo (21) and Luca (18), have been called up for pre-season while young'uns Theo (14) and Elyaz (10) also ply their trade with Los Blancos.
The report also states it's a bid to "avoid greater media exposure".
