Cristiano Ronaldo's sister Elma Aveiro has trolled Lionel Messi on Instagram after their latest encounter.

In his return to the Nou Camp for the first meeting between Ronaldo and Messi since 2018, Ronaldo scored two penalties as Juventus ran out 3-0 winners in the Champions League group stage clash.

He also did a bit of defensive work when he tackled Messi inside the box in one of the key moments during the game.

But after Juventus trolled Barcelona and Messi by getting revenge with a 'GOAT tweet', Ronaldo's younger sister had a brutal dig at the six-time Ballon d'Or winner on social media.

She posted a BT Sport graphic of Messi bowing down to Ronaldo while he performed his trademark "SIUUUU!" celebration, complete with the caption: "My king. Greatest of all time. Pride of my life."

Messi and Ronaldo embraced before and after the game and the Portuguese superstar paid tribute to the Barcelona talisman in an incredibly humble post-match interview.

"I have always had a cordial relationship with Messi," Ronaldo told Movistar, as per ESPN.

"As I have said before, for 12, 13, 14 years, I have been sharing prizes with him. I never saw him as a rival. He always tried the best for his team, and I tried the best for mine. I always got on well with him. I am sure he will say the same if you ask him.

"But we know in football, people always look for a rivalry to create more excitement."

The 35-year-old went on to rubbish claims that Messi is in decline.

"It's always beautiful to play against him," he added.

"Obviously people will talk about our rivalry when we meet, but for me it's just a great privilege.

"Messi is the same as ever [on the pitch]. Barcelona are in a difficult moment, but they are still Barca. I am sure they will come out of it. All teams have bad runs, but Barcelona are a very good team."
