Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants to leave Juventus, with a return to Real Madrid or a move to Paris Saint-Germain in his sights.

Following a break after his involvement at Euro 2020, Ronaldo returned to pre-season training on Monday and linked up with Max Allegri's squad.

It had been reported that Juventus expected their talisman to remain with the club for another season but according to AS, via Corriere dello Sport, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner wants out.

He is keen on a second stint with Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid in the Spanish capital, while PSG are also a potential suitor this summer.

It's said that the future of Kylian Mbappe could be key to Ronaldo's next destination. If the Frenchman heads to Real, that would pave the way for Ronaldo to embark on a new challenge in Paris.

But with a deal for Mbappe difficult to do, him staying at the Parc des Princes could prompt Real to make a move for their greatest ever goalscorer and bring him back to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo joined Real in a world-record £80 million transfer from Manchester United in 2009 and went on to score a record-breaking 450 goals in 438 games.

After winning a fourth Champions League trophy with Los Blancos, he made a shock £99 million switch to Juventus in 2018.

In Turin, Ronaldo has hit 101 goals in 133 games and won two Serie A titles.

Last season Juventus' domestic dominance came to an end as they finished in fourth, 13 points behind Scudetto winners Inter Milan.
