Paris Saint-Germain are the favourites to sign Cristiano Ronaldo next summer following reports claiming Juventus want to get rid of the superstar forward.

Juventus are reportedly looking to balance their books after being hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Spanish outlet SPORT, the Italian giants want to reduce their wage bill by offloading the 35-year-old who's currently on a whopping £28 million-per-year contract.

And bookies have revealed that a stunning move to France is the odds-on favourite amid the uncertainty surrounding Ronaldo's future in Turin.

PSG lead the way with 7/5 odds ahead of Major League Soccer side Inter Miami who're priced at 10/3.

A sensational return to Real Madrid is priced at 15/2.

Bayern Munich and Manchester United are on 9/1 odds.

Ronaldo leaving Europe for China and joining Manchester City are on 14/1.

And you can get odds of 18/1 for Ronaldo returning to boyhood club Sporting CP while a transfer to Barcelona is priced at 22/1.

Andy Townsend believes Pep Guardiola should snap up the former Premier League ace.

"If you want goals then I think he's still the ultimate goal machine," he said.

"I know [Lionel] Messi and there has been so much mileage on the debate over the years but I still think Ronaldo still has the desire and want to be remembered as the greatest. He will in some people's eyes but he won't in others.

"He's still got a desire to score goals. More than anything on the field now, he just wants to score goals.

"He's at that period where his eyes light up every time there's a free-kick at whatever angle. Whenever he gets the chance to shoot he will. Even when others are better placed, forget that.

"He's unbelievable in the air, which we've seen in a Juventus shirt already.

"If he became available and Juve wanted out on him and Man City needed goals for their team then I don't think you should hesitate in going to get Cristiano Ronaldo.

"He's 35 and I still think he's got 18 months in him. If he came to Man City and the way they play I think he could go there and get 25 in his first season."
