Cristiano Ronaldo has the most 99-rated cards in the history of FIFA Ultimate Team.
Thanks to his ridiculous goalscoring form for Real Madrid, Juventus and the Portugal national team, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been given a whole host of special cards in the FIFA franchise's most popular game-mode over the years.
Many of these have been 'Team of the Year' cards - some of which have been been the maximum rating and came with stunning attributes that made the 35-year-old unstoppable on the game.

It all kicked off in FIFA 15, with another 99 rating coming in FIFA 16 thanks to Ronaldo being named in the EA Team of the Season.
He then continued to receive the highest rating in the form of two cards, whether it be as a striker or left winger, in FIFA 17, FIFA 18, FIFA 19 and FIFA 20 respectively.

So far he's only had his base rating of 92 on FIFA 21 but after a strong run of form following his absence due to COVID-19, you wouldn't bet against Ronaldo getting a 99 card once again.
He's had ten in total across the games, three more than rival and fellow former cover star Lionel Messi has managed.
It's pretty good going but if Ronaldo had his way, he would be 100 rated on the game. For the FIFA 19 ratings reveal, he crossed out his 94 rating and scribbled 100 over the top on his card.
EA Sports have a plethora of different special cards in their Ultimate Team including in-forms, icons, future stars, FutMas, Man of the Match, Team of the Season, ones to watch and many more.

But one fan has created a concept for 'the streets will never forget' cards, designing cards for cult heroes like Hatem Ben Arfa, Michu and Fabio Coentrao.
Ronaldo and Messi are far too good for this series but we reckon EA need to bring it in for FIFA 22.
