He's had a difficult season so far...

Things haven't exactly gone great for Cristiano Ronaldo this season but he's not lost any of his confidence, it seems.

While the FIFA Men's Best Player has scored six goals in four games in the Champions League, he's been woefully out of form domestically - managing just one goal in seven La Liga outings.

To put it in perspective, due to his struggles in the league and four-match ban at the start of the season, Ronaldo is 11 goals behind his regular rival Lionel Messi and eight behind the league's second top scorer Simone Zaza, who's been banging them in for high-flying Valencia.

But despite difficulties of his late, the 32-year old is confident that he will soon enter a purple patch and reckons he will still get his hands on the "Pichichi" trophy (Golden Boot in Spain] for the fourth time in his career.

As per a reporter on Spanish radio station on Onda Cero, via The Express, Ronaldo has had a bet with two of his Real teammates that he will finish the season as the league's top scorer.

On the El Transistor programme, Jose Ramon de la Morena is quoted as saying:

"He has made a bet with two players in the dressing room that he has said he will win the Pichichi.

"And he has made them a bet in which they have played a lot of money, money that they have said they are going to donate to an NGO."

Ronaldo has been given a rest from the Portugal squad for their upcoming friendly games with Saudi Arabia and USA and will be looking to rediscover his goalscoring touch in Real's next league game - the first Madrid derby with Atletico at the Wanda Metropolino on 18 November.
