Cristiano Ronaldo was fuming with his transfer value that he blocked the website who downgraded him.

TransferMarkt give valuations to players based off their performances and a number of other factors. Their system sees the market values go up and down and a year ago, Ronaldo was not happy with his demotion.

At the time the five-time Ballon d'Or winner had scored 21 goals in 21 Serie A games, including 11 in a row. He was given a valuation of £67.5 million - a drop from the £88 million Juventus paid to sign him from Real Madrid in 2018.

It meant he was 37th in the world on the overall list, which clearly did not sit well with the Portugal star.

Twitter user False9Messi, took screenshots of Transfermarkt's Instagram activity where they revealed that Ronaldo had pressed the block button.

And going off the most recent standings, it doesn't look like he will be unblocking the page anytime soon. Despite hitting 26 goals in 29 games in all competitions this term, he's all the way down in 63rd on the list.

The 36-year-old is valued at €60 million, the same price tag given to Robert Lewandowski, who won FIFA's Best Men's Player in December ahead of Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in December.

Messi, meanwhile, is 22nd on the list with a €80 million valuation.

Clearly there's very much an emphasis on the age of players as 22-year-old PSG and France sensation Kylian Mbappe leads the way with a €180 million market value.

His colleague Neymar is a place down with €128 million, while Premier League stars Sadio Mane, Mo Salah, Harry Kane and Kevin De Bruyne are all rated €120 million.

Erling Haaland, the man expected to rival Mbappe for the individual awards in the coming years, is worth €110 million according to Transfer Markt - though Borussia Dortmund will definitely value their main man higher.
