Cristiano Ronaldo pipped Lionel Messi to yet another award last night as the Portuguese star bagged the FIFA 'The Best' player of 2016. And he's now trumped him in another list.
The Real Madrid attacker also claimed the Ballon d'Or thanks to his exploits for both club and country. Ronaldo lifted another Champions League title as well as helping guide his nation to their maiden international honour in the shape of the European Championship.
The 31-year-old also edges out his Barcelona rival in the 'Marketing Power List'. Researchers at London School of Marketing have crunched the all-important numbers and it proves grim reading for Messi. Well, you know what we mean.

Ronaldo raked in an impressive £26.2 million last calendar year in sponsorship money from the likes of Nike, Tag Heuer and Herbalife. Meanwhile, Messi pocketed £23 million courtesy of Adidas, EA, Gatorade, Audemars Piguet, Gillette and Tata Motors.
