Manchester United's Marcus Rashford was said to have been disillusioned after only managing a substitute appearance in the Manchester derby.

The 21-year old, who has two goals to his name in the fixture, played eight minutes of United's sublime 3-2 comeback.

While Rashford has featured in 43 games this season, second only to Romelu Lukaku in terms of appearances for Jose Mourinho's side, over half have been from the bench.

And it appears Rashford's frustrations growing, as per David McDonnell from The Mirror.

A boyhood United fan who has progress to become a first-team star, Rashford does not wish to play for any other club.

But the fact he's started just five of the last 16 games in all competitions has left him unhappy. There's been no public complaint from Rashford, but a United source shed light to The Mirror on his current situation and said might not even be at Old Trafford next season if things don't improve.

"Marcus was really unhappy with being left out for the derby," he said.

"If Mourinho is still there next season, Marcus might not be, as he wants to start every game."

You can understand Rashford's exasperation, particularly with the World Cup on the horizon. Gareth Southgate has apparently expressed his concerns over the United No.19's cameo-role.

Frank De Boer was highly critical of Mourinho not affording Rashford the game-time he desires but Man United but ended up being on the receiving end of a verbal lashing from the Portuguese.

Another gripe of Rashford's is said to be that he is playing a large chunk of his games on the right of late, with Alexis Sanchez occupying the left flank and Romelu Lukaku never going to be displaced up top.

Is Rashford right to be frustrated?
