Compilation Of Yaya Toure Proves He Is One Of The Best Midfielders Of All-Time

A compilation of Yaya Toure proves that he is well up there when it comes to the greatest Premier League midfielder of all time.

Steven Gerrard is certainly in the conversation for the Premier League's midfield GOAT and is usually compared to fellow former England internationals Frank Lampard and Paul Scholes.

All three have their own backers, normally fans of the club each played for, and their own arguments in their favour. However Toure, who recently shared his love for bums in football, also has a claim to the title.

While the former Manchester City midfielder might not have been around in England's top tier as long as the English trio, he certainly shone when he arrived on these shores.

One fan has posted a video of Toure's highlights while at City and it's tough to argue just how good the Ivorian was at his peak.

Having already won the Champions League with Barcelona, Toure found a whole new level at City, where he won seven trophies and scored 79 goals in 316 appearances.

A big-game player, a midfield machine, who could go on a lung-busting run or a long-range scorcher, he is undoubtedly one of the most technically gifted footballers to play in English football.

In City's double-winning 2013/14 campaign under Manuel Pellegrini, Toure was unplayable - scoring 20 goals and registering nine assists for his teammates in 35 outings.
